Beach Work and Site History

The Luhr Jensen ramp is new for windsurf use in summer 2007.  It is intended as a temporary overflow site due to the higher demands placed upon the Event Site after the expansion of the sandbar.  The site is currently available for use during summer 2007.  Funding for the project came from the Doug’s Beach settlement fund, designated to increase windsurfing access in the Gorge.  Please respect the fencing and clean up after your trash.  Thank you!
