Proposed dock near Bob's Beach - Comments are Needed- October 23, 2006. Barry Lutz is applying for permits to construct a private dock and mooring rings approximately 1,000 feet westerly from Bob's Beach in Stevenson. At first, CGWA didn't think this would be a wind shadow issue until we took into consideration all of the other homes and vacant lots between Mr. Lutz's property and Bob's Beach. Approval of these permits for this dock and the mooring rings could set a precedent to allow the other homes and future homes to follow suit, thereby creating the possibility for wind shadows at Bob's Beach. < More details >
General Info- The Port has built a walkway along the river bank that ties Bob's beach to the dock. Rest rooms were installed at the boat dock. There is some opportunity to do improvements to the point in front of the old Dynafiber building.
