2008 Swap Meet Information
Time & Dates: All the swaps will run from 8 am to 1 pm. Setup is from 7-8 am.

Why? These Swap Meets are a CGWA fundraiser. Seller's entry contributions go to the CGWA's access program which includes site maintenance, site improvements and new projects.

Details
Free to buyers and $10 for sellers. Sellers can set up and get a good spot at 7 am. Bring recreational gear such as windsurfing or kayak equipment; any gear related to outdoor recreation. Space is on a first come first served basis with no reservations. There will not be a place to dump trash so we need to "pack it in/pack it out." Please remember to use the restrooms at the Event Site...not the Expo visitor center.
This is a great opportunity to buy equipment to get into a new sport economically. It's also a terrific chance to unload all that gear you've outgrown that's taking up space in your garage and make some cash to buy the latest.
If you have gear that you don't want to take the time to sell yourself at the meet, you may donate that gear to CGWA. CGWA will either use your donated gear for the Community Windsurfing Program & Tuesday Youth Sailing Nights, or sell it at our swap meets. If you're interested in donating gear, you may leave it at Windance (clearly marking for CGWA). You may also bring your donated gear to the swap meet (give to Bud & Vel Budworth). It needs to be there before 8 a.m. on the day of the swap meet.
Also, Bud & Vel are donating their time again to run the entire swap meet for CGWA. Now that we've added a "CGWA Corner" (gear sales, membership sign-up's)..., it would be great if a couple of people could help Bud & Vel with the CGWA sales on the day of the swap meet...run the CGWA Corner. If you can help, come by around 7:30am...even later works too.
Directions
Take I-84 to Hood River Exit 63 and head north toward the Columbia River. Turn left (west) on Portway Avenue and drive past the Expo Building. The parking lot is on the left (south) side of the street.
